Jamie Holmes

Mr. Holmes has over 30 years experience in the oil and gas industry.  Mr. Holmes began his carreer at Tenneco Oil Company where he managed a geologic staff of 10 professionals and 6 support people in an active exploration program exploring for oil and gas in a mature part of the offshore Louisiana shelf.

Subsequent to his time at Tenneco, Mr. Holmes directly influenced the startup of Newfield, a company that now has a market cap in excess of $3.6 billion.  At Newfield, Mr. Holmes reorganized his division into multi-disciplinary teams integrating engineering, geology, and geophysics to develop and drill prospects in Texas and Louisiana.

In 2005, Mr. Holmes participated in developing the Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast prospect portfolio that led to initial funding and subsequent listing of Caza Petroleum on Toronto Stock Exchange and the AIM in London.  Approximately $72 million in equity capital was raised to fund their drilling program.

In 2009, Mr. Holmes joined Petrodome Energy as Vice President of Geology.  At Petrodome, Mr. Holmes team had several significant natural gas discoveries. Later, due to depressed natural gas prices, Petrodome refocused on oil prospects and had a 75% success rate drilling oil prospects using advanced geophysical processing in evaluating these prospects.

Mr. Holmes left Petrodome in 2012 to pursue other projects.

Mr. Holmes holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in geology from the University of Alabama.
